About the video:
The character featured in this video, Mr Mokhtar, is created and performed by the artist himself. The character is a very serious personal committed to giving his audience periodical lectures. He has a clear stance toward various topics concerning social, political and philosophical issues.
This video was first shown as part of Yousri's thesis show installation having the same title. The installation constituted of spaces where different disciplines, dimensions, and surfaces intersect; wall drawings, drawings on paper, papyrus and canvas as well as white clay figurines.
